On reaching Kanakapura [about 55km from Bangalore on the Bangalore-Kanakapura highway], make a left at the second circle [cross road] towards Sangam. A ‘Jungle Lodges’ signpost would guide you at this point. 100mts before Sangam [ the confluence of the two rivers Arkavathi and Cauvery], there is another signpost guiding you to take a right to Galibore from this signpost, on a gravelly track, Galibore Camp is about 9km away. A landmark you could lookout is the Vedic Ashram called ‘Om Shanthi Dharma’ at about 5km on this road. |
